About the Journal
"Modern Issues of Medicine and Management" (Print-ISSN 1512-4169, E-ISSN 2720-8737) is a biannual international, peer-reviewed, referenced scientific journal of University Geomedi, which aims to publish the scientific achievements in medicine and management.
In concordance with the university's educational activities, the following main priorities are allocated in the journal: medicine, dentistry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, health care economics and management.
The Journal:
- had been published research articles since 2014 till 2020 in Georgian or English and since 2021 in English only (with Georgian abstracts).
- applies the "Open Access"
policy "Gold" model for accepted papers, which implies access to publications for free of charge. - is published in printed form twice a year.
- publishes a submitted paper on the journal's website as soon as the decision on
acceptance is made.
The mission of the journal is to promote and present local and international researchers based on integration into the global scientific information system, with priority areas of science (medicine, health care economics and management, dentistry, physical medicine and rehabilitation).
